This is my #York #airconditioner that has been around for about 6 years or so and still running as usual to blowout cold air. The indoor unit fan motor blade is a little bit noisy though due to accumulated pile of dust around the motor blades. In its first 2 years usually I will call the technifian to fix most of the problems such as refill gas, filter cleaning, changing sensor, and fix faulty #electronic in the #air #conditioner. After that Usually i #DIY it myself using #homeMade stuff. There are few common problems about the York aircond that happens repeatedly. 1. The orange light blink / flash alternately and it no longer blowout cold air - in this the outdoor unit shut off. #HowTo solve this problem is by cleaning the air filter and take out the power cable for few seconds. The second major problem is the indoor unit is not turning on and the green light and red light is flashing simultaneously. -- it turns out the indoor unit fan motor is stucked.. after further checked i found the dust is become so thick like mud and prevent the motor from spinning....to solve this i use a toothbrush to clean the motor and one it is able to spin freely the unit should be fine as in the video. 80% of the time. These little switches are what goes bad on the board. Its really cheap and easy just to replace them all. Its worth trying. There is nothing to lose. These parts are very cheap. Inverters take DC power from tractor batteries and convert it to 110 AC power. This allows drivers to operate devices such as laptops and microwaves while on over the road routes. Sales and Service Engineer Larry Rambeaux demonstrates how to reset an inverter when it shuts off. According to Larry, “When the 1200-11-8 inverter batteries drop below to 11.8 volts for more than 30 seconds, the inverter will shut off to protect the truck’s batteries from excessive draining.” The green light on the inverter will begin blinking when the voltage drops to 11.8v. If proper voltage is not restored within 30 seconds, the light will turn red and the inverter will shut off. The 30 second requirement eliminates false turn-offs due to short-term loads like an engine crank. There are two things that need to be done in order to reset the inverter. First, a voltmeter needs to be connected to the inputs at the back of the inverter to make sure the input voltage is read correctly. Then the voltage at the truck batteries needs to be at least 13.3v. Once this proper voltage is reached, turn the switch off and back on. The light will switch back to green and the inverter is once again operating correctly. While inverters are good tools for drivers, they do have limitations so it is important to understand how much of a load an inverter can handle. This is the 2nd inverter that has the same Fault : The the unit would indicate 12 .6 V DC on the display, but the AC 240V current was not at the out let. Tried to get it to run but no -go I have sent it back under warranty. the suppler has no problem with returns
