Horizon Zero Dawn All Cutscenes (Game Movie) PS4 PRO 1080p

Follow GLP on Instagram: http://instagram.com/glplaygr0und Follow GLP on Twitter! http://twitter.com/glittlep Like GLP on Facebook! http://facebook.com/gLpLayground MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME: We edit together game movies for a living, so it's really hard not to be biased toward story heavy games. So anything we say about the game, you should take with that particular grain of salt. Horizon was definitely a surprise for me. The concept seemed ridiculous to me when it was first revealed. "Robot Dinosaurs? Really???" But like everything else, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. In terms of visuals, this is definitely one of the best looking games on this console generation. The world in Horizon Zero Dawn is lush, beautiful, and full of detail. On the PS4 PRO it ran a steady 1080p at 30fps and never felt like it dipped. Guerilla Games makes sure to make the most out of the pretty visuals too, by having a wide variety of locations (desert, jungle, mountains) to explore freely. The open world is huge in this game, and almost feels daunting when you first get to see the full map. The story is excellent, well paced and engaging. There are a couple mysteries in the game that keep you hooked and keep you wanting to continue just to find out what has happened to Earth. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that it's devoid of some big plot holes but that goes with most video game stories. The story is where the game is the strongest. Guerilla Games did a great job here spreading out all the mysteries and creating some interesting characters you cared about. With that being said, sometimes the lip sync felt slightly off, which would take me out of the immersion. Some of the voice acting was stilted as well. The main characters' voice acting were all great, but some of the side characters sounded like they were reading from a script. Gameplay-wise, the game is fun and action-packed. Aloy's movements are fluid and you always feel like you have full control over her. It's also nice that they added some platforming type sections where you feel like you're playing Uncharted or Tomb Raider. It's not a huge mechanic in the game, but there are plenty of sections in the story where you have to make an epic getaway, or get up to a high place, and the little parkour element is a nice change of pace. The core fighting mechanic is shooting your arrows. Overall this is fun because you can craft different type of arrows, and unlock stronger bows and spears. It can start to feel repetitive at times. I think the they could have made the hand to hand combat better so it would be more viable to use as a normal tactic. The melee aspect feels to slow to use consistently. But a lot of your combat style depends on how you choose to level up your skill trees. You might be a stealthy player, and level up your stealth abilities first to tailor your gameplay that way. Overall, this is an early contender for game of the year. It took us a little over 20 hours to beat the main story. As you guys can imagine, we tend to rush things because of the type of content we do. If you took your time and explored more than we did, you could easily double or even triple your playing time on the game. This is definitely a game worth picking up, especially if you're an Action-RPG type of person Score: 9/10 Our 2nd Channel, GLP TV - https://www.youtube.com/c/glptvee OUR GRAPHICS CARD: https://amzn.to/2DP7otI OUR CAPTURE CARD: https://amzn.to/2Sikjs0 OUR PROCESSOR: https://amzn.to/2DOfG57 OUR MONITOR: https://amzn.to/2DOpVGm OUR HEADSET: https://amzn.to/2SikB24 OUR MIC: https://amzn.to/2KKcokw

Halo Universe - The Movie 2016 (LIVE ACTION)

This is a live action film showcasing the events of the Great War from the Halo saga. Contains all "Live Action" movie trailers from Halo Anniversary through Halo 5 (Sponsored by Microsoft and 343 Industries) , plus some other Fan based trailers. When putting this movie together, I tried to stay away from taking any Live footage from the other halo based movies. Forward Unto Dawn, Nightfall, The Fallen, HellJumper, etc. 90% of the movie is made up of Live footage, but there are a few small clips that are Cutscenes from the Halo games. Movie Trailers are not all in chronological order, since I had to work with what I could find, and still give this film some sort of storyline. Over all as a Halo Fan I say it flows together really nice. I also understand that there are a few clips throughout this video that show scenes from non halo related films. I did not purposely place them into this video, they were already part of those clips when I got them. However, since I loved how those clips flowed together, and that it would have taken myself several hours to remove them I decided to keep them in. Enjoy!!! P.S. I originally put this video together for my own enjoyment. If you have a problem with this video or are upset with it in any way, "I DON'T CARE". I did not upload this video for views, just to share so others can enjoy. Fan Trailers Used in the Movie: The Return - Halo 4 Live- Action Fan Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbMoF... Halo Wars 2 is somewhat of a miracle to me. The first Halo Wars, while good, wasn't particular successful. If it were Halo Wars 2 would have been done long ago. Couple that with the waning popularity of RTS games, it came as a surprise when Halo Wars 2 was announced. I credit the incredible Halo fan base for applying enough pressure to finally make 343 and Microsoft greenlight the project.

As far as console RTS games goes, these are probably the best controls you will ever get (We played the game on the Xbox one and not on PC) . The controls have improved since the first game. Everything feels smoother. In particular the ability to group up to 4 sets of units it's huge. As someone who put in thousands of hours in Red Alert 2, it was one of the biggest frustrations in Halo Wars 1. Now with the grouping, you can be much more strategic about your attacks and defenses. Although it does take some getting used to. You have to hold RT then hold down a button on the D-Pad to create a group. To choose a group you have also out down RT and but only tap the D-Pad. You'll find yourself mistakenly creating new groups in the heat of battle. It's frustrating, but understandable for a RTS on console. I will note that there were sometimes where the controls felt unresponsive, where I would click on units and they wouldn't follow my command. That was a rare occasion in the grand scheme of things, but seemed to happen 2 or 3 times a map. Not a huge deal but worth noting.

The difficulty is on the easier side. On normal, we only ever had to restart a mission once because we wanted a fresh start. Other than that we rolled through the campaign. On Legendary, most missions are still on the easier side. They will take much longer than they do on normal, but you'll still be able to beat many of the missions on first go around. The Domination style missions, however, are particular difficult, and presented the biggest challenge in the game. On Legendary, the second to last mission was one of the hardest missions I've ever played on any game, but it was loads of fun trying to figure a build order that would work for the immense task at hand.

We did encounter a couple of unfortunate glitches throughout the campaign. For example. on one mission where I had 3 Spartans available, one of the Spartans would not move after he recovered from being downed. He would only move with doing his special, but nothing else. There was another instance where my based was destroyed, and the game should have been seemingly over, but the clock kept winding down as the AI was mindlessly floating around the final objective. The glitch went in my favor, but it was immersion breaking.

I want to keep this spoiler free, so all I will say about the actual story is that I felt it was pretty good, but overall didn't amount to much. It felt like a setup for another game. With that said, the cutscenes some of the best every created anywhere, and probably the best in the series. Atriox is a wonderful character, who really inspires fear, but is underused in my opinion.

Overall, I give the campaign a 8.5/10. The gameplay is fun, if you like real time strategies, and the missions are varied enough that it doesn't get boring. But some unfortunate glitches coupled with a underdeveloped story keeps it from reaching its full potential. And at the end of the day it still is a RTS on console and the controls will always feel clunky compared to the PC. We know this game is on the PC as well, but we played it on the XBOX One. I'm guessing with better controls, it would be a 9 and 9.5.
