This video goes over the process to remove old tint using the trash bag method. I forgot to lock the auto focus on my camera during shooting so it goes in and out periodically through the video, Sorry. Step 1: Cut trash back bigger than the needed by at least 3 inches Step 2: Wet old tint down with 409 (Ammonia based degreaser) Step 3: Set car facing the sun for 20 mins Step 4: Pick a corner and peel slowly (Pay attention how I peel this method helps prevent tearing of the tint) Step 4 Continued: If only one lay comes off repeat the entire process again for last layer Step 4 Continued: If adhesive is left use a degreaser and triple or quad Zero Steel wool to remove. Step 5: If tint still doesn't come off or there is some left take a steamer to it to remove. This process will take time so deep breath and go slow. Step 6: Spray down with soapy water and clean up. I had to the WD 40 vs Headlights myth to rest. I used WD 40 to clean my headlight on my truck. I felt like the Toothpaste Method for cleaning headlights was a lot of scrubbing. Here is what happened after just a few minutes of rubbing WD 40 on my Toyota Tacoma Headlights! ** Update video on WD 40 and Headlights & OFF Bug Spray vs Headlights- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RprGfldXm4 Please Follow me on Facebook and Instagram @yakmotley!

Headlight Restoration using Clear Coat. This video will show you how to clean and restore your headlights so they will never turn yellow or hazy again! You have seen videos on restoring headlights with bug spray, toothpaste, baking soda, and the kits you buy in the store, but all of these methods are temporary and eventually the haze and oxidation will come back. My method will first make the headlight clear by wet sanding and then put a UV coat on it to seal it in.
